Engagement Specialist
Position Type: Federal Work Study or Non-Work Study
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop resource libraries in support of the Community Engaged Learning (CEL) 2030 initiative, including-
- Go through existing survey responses to identify possible resources.
- Correspond with faculty staff and student leaders to obtain resources as directed by Institute of Leadership and Service (ILS) staff.
- Catalog the listings.
- Work with ILS staff to upload resources to the web.
- Support CEL application process as directed by ILS staff.
- Support CEL events (CEL Affinity group meetings, Community Forum, etc.) with room reservations, set-up, and food supplies.
- Updates for ILS website.
- Other support for CEL and ILS as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with faculty.
- Respectful, and professional in communications.
- Appreciates Faculty Perspective.
- Able to work independently.
- Aware of and open about the need for help.
Anticipated Schedule:
- 5-10 hours per week.
