Criminal Investigator - Pathways Student Intern Program

The Pathways Student Intern Program is a paid internship program designed for School Year 2024 college juniors, or equivalent, who will graduate in Spring 2025 and desire to be converted to a Criminal Investigator (Special Agent) with IRS:CI. Appointment is NOT guaranteed after graduation. 

This is a federal law enforcement position. Interested applicants must be willing to carry/use a firearm AFTER appointment and graduation from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and IRS:CI's National Criminal Investigator Training Academy. 

Ideal candidates for the Pathways Student Intern Program will possess exemplary accounting skills, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial principles and practices. They must possess the ability to prepare detailed oral and written reports and convey clearly and comprehensively complex data to front line supervisors and our external stakeholders.
