DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Intern, you’re able to make a real impact, while growing and learning more about your profession of choice. As a Product Management intern, you’ll step into a role that will provide a diverse workload best suited for a well-rounded skill set.

 

What You’ll Do

 

The role will help support cross-functional, communication enhancement projects, performing project management for critical initiatives. The intern will be a part of a collaborative team with exposure to diverse talent in a fast paced environment which will be very educational for those pursuing careers in the corporate communications, healthcare field or corporate environment.

     * Provide project management support across a variety of ad hoc or assigned projects

     * Engage and assist in project plans and execution

     * Identify areas of process improvement and provide recommendations

     * Help support the execution of enhanced/new product communications

 

Qualifications

     * Junior or senior-level college students majoring in Business Communications, Marketing, or similar

     * Business analytics concentration not required, but a plus

     * Strong business acumen and analytical skills

     * Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications

     * Effective time management and organizational skills

     * Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and build effective working relationships

     * Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organization skills

 

Healthcare experience & knowledge not required, but a plus

 

Additional Information: 

 

Location: Hybrid in Saint Louis, MO. A hybrid position means that you will be expected to work in-person at your assigned office location more than 50% of time per week, with flexibility to work at home for balance of time. The internship is paid, and housing assistance is not offered. 

 

Work Authorization: One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. 

 

Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work for the duration of the internship.

 

 

 

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
