C.O.R.E. Team

CUSTOMERS. OPERATIONS. RELATIONS. EXPERIENCE.

EACH SUMMER, CAMP OZARK HIRES UP TO 30 STAFF TO SERVE AS MEMBERS OF THE C.O.R.E. TEAM. MEMBERS OF THE C.O.R.E. TEAM HAVE THE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO USE THEIR TALENTS TO SERVE IN A BEHIND-THE-SCENES ROLE THAT IS CENTRAL TO CAMP OZARK’S EFFECTIVE OPERATION AND CONTRIBUTES TO THE EXPERIENCES OF CAMPERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

As part of the C.O.R.E. Team, staff members will be trained in and work in a variety of operational and customer-oriented areas each session. C.O.R.E. Team responsibilities occur primarily within our Retail Services and Office Administration areas and include, but are not limited to:

  • Business administration work such as data entry and filing, direct customer communication with parents and families, and camper-focused project administration.
  • Retail services duties such as inventory, sales floor management, restocking, and order fulfillment.
  • Shipping, receiving, and distribution logistics for campers, families, and staff.
  • Back-end support for camper program and business services team.

All C.O.R.E. Team staff can expect to learn valuable lessons in business administration, inventory and logistics management, time and project management, operational excellence, and customer service. All C.O.R.E. Team members work under the direction of full-time Camp Ozark staff and play a crucial role in the mission, ministry, and outreach of Camp Ozark. All necessary training is provided.

Finally, all members of the C.O.R.E. Team work in an exciting, kid-oriented Christian environment alongside other talented and passionate college students. The C.O.R.E. Team program presents an opportunity for staff to develop applicable professional skills while experiencing significant personal and spiritual growth.
