Director, Financial Systems Analysis

The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania is seeking a Director, Financial Systems Analysis. This position conducts financial and reimbursement research projects, impact analysis related to Medicare and Medicaid, and analyzes data and surveys in support of HAP’s policy development and federal and state advocacy related to hospitals and health systems and financial systems.

Candidates for consideration must have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, hospital administration or other related degree in combination with a health care background.  Master’s degree is preferred.  Successful candidates will also have at least five to seven years’ experience and a solid foundation working with hospital financial management and reimbursement methodologies. In addition, the candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and the ability to analyze financial impact on Pennsylvania’s hospitals, as well as post-acute care settings. Practical applied knowledge with Microsoft office, particularly Excel, and various database management applications is required.
