Serves as an assistant to Human Resources Specialists working in the Employment
Services Division of the Office of Human Resources. Performs a wide variety of
technical support duties in the HR functional areas of Recruitment and Placement,
Benefits, and general employment processes and services.
Provides recruitment and placement support services to HR Specialists. Monitors the
Employment Services inquiry box and directs customers to the correct point of contact
(POC) or provides a thorough response. Assists Specialists by serving as a liaison for
candidates selected for hire. Monitors candidates throughout the pre-hire process and
ensures appropriate pre-employment forms, clearances, physicals, medical exams,
etc. are completed timely and are properly coordinated with the gaining office. Serves
as a liaison with the shared service center staffing POC when necessary. Coordinates
all notifications to stakeholders regarding accession and separation actions.
Provides research and set-up for alternative external recruitment avenues. This
includes websites, onsite visits, recruitment/outreach events, etc. Responds to
customer inquiries on such matters as procedures for filing applications, status of
recruitment announcements, kinds of vacancies in the organization serviced and hiring
procedures and announcements.

Serves as a records management liaison for the Employment Services Division.
Ensures all Employment services to include benefit documents, pay documents,
recruitment and onboard documents, etc. are properly transmitted to the shared
services center, filed (electronic and paper) and are properly stored or disposed of in
accordance with the general record schedule. Also ensures that all files (electronic
and paper) are appropriately maintained and dispositioned.
Serves as a POC for the exit clearance process. Ensures documentation for
employee exit clearance is appropriately completed and retained in accordance with
policy. Works with stakeholders to ensure exit clearance documentation is fully
executed.


Assists with the planning, set-up, and execution of special events hosted by the Office
of Human Resources. Work requires unescorted access to Production Areas for the
purpose of assisting and/or meeting with Production managers and/or employees.
