LEAD Associate - Production Operation

ABOUT LEAD PROGRAM

The LEAD program is an accelerated growth career program that takes two years on
average and emphasizes your experience in leadership and career development. The
program has a comprehensive framework, depending on your chosen field, that covers
on-the-job training through sub-functional and cross-functional rotations, stretch
assignments and learning and training.


When you embark on your journey with us, you will participate in two-week onboarding
programs to learn about the company and all important areas of the organization. You will
also be guided by various managers at different stages of the project and coached by a
mentor who is usually a leader of the organization.


Towards the end of the journey, you will be assessed on your overall performance and
provided a job placement opportunity if you are performing well. You will also pair with a
buddy who is a program associate to support each other throughout the journey.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

  • 1-on-1 mentorship with departmental executives and personal guidance
  • 24 months cross-departmental rotations with customized development plans. Each
    rotation can vary from 4-8 months depending on the projects and tasks that you will
    be assigned.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN PRODUCTION OPERATIONS WILL INCLUDE

  • Associates gain knowledge and skills through practical, technical and managerial training.
  • Associates usually carry out roles in various functions, divisions and geographical regions of the company.
  • The associate will learn functional and technical aspects of our business, as well as general leadership skills.
  • The program consists of 18-24 month rotations in different functions and divisions of Avery Dennison. Projects vary with the current business needs and utilize Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.

Essential skills and requirements:

  1. Full-time Bachelor's degree and above.
  2. CGPA of 3.0 and higher.
  3. Strong command of written and spoken English.
  4. Strong adaptability and positive learning attitude.
  5. Available to move across the country for the rotations.
  6. Able to join the program in April or July.
