Leasing Agent - Brookside Downtown
THE COMPANY:
Real Equity Management is a property management company with headquarters located in Columbia, MO. REM manages the popular student housing complex Brookside, along with other residential complexes like Aria Luxury Apartments, Orr Street Lofts, and several retail and commercial properties. REM's properties are located in Missouri, Kentucky and Oklahoma, with continual expansion.
THE LEASING AGENT POSITION:
Real Equity Management is looking to hire a part-time Leasing Agent at our Brookside Downtown location to act as a brand ambassador by assisting their leasing team with sales efforts.
LEASING AGENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops relationships with potential residents from first interaction through lease signing.
- Responsible for conducting most aspects of the leasing process including greeting customers, giving property tours, closing the sale and signing leases.
- Maintains excellent working knowledge of property, amenities and community.
- Able to interact positively with customers through phone, email and in-person communication.
- Assists in community events, marketing efforts and team-building exercises as needed.
LEASING AGENT QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours/week with some Saturday and Sunday work
- Well connected with University of Missouri students
- Prior experience in real estate/housing industry a plus
- Sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
LEASING AGENT PAY:
- 10% discount on rent at Brookside after 45 days and working constant 15-20 hour schedule/week.
- Starting pay $12.00/hour
- Bonus incentives for each lease signed as well as other performance incentives (average hourly pay with bonus ranges from $16-$20/hour)
