Program Overview:
The Sallie Mae Internship program seeks to attract and develop exceptional early talent while adding value to our organization. Our goal is to tie academic learning into a practical business setting while fostering professional and personal growth within a student’s area of focus.
Over the course of the semester, interns will gain exposure to senior leaders, attend meetings, work alongside mentors, and receive valuable performance feedback.

We’re on the search for a highly motivated and creative writing intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the world of content creation.
You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our awesome team of writers and designers to develop and refine your writing skills. You will play a big role in producing high-quality content for our content hub and social profiles.
Key Responsibilities:
· Content Creation: A key contributor to content production, helping the writing team create engaging and informative pieces across various formats, from blog articles to social media posts.
· Research: Dive deep into topics to gather the latest information and insights, ensuring that all content is well-informed and up-to-date.
· Collaboration: Join and participate in various brainstorms as needed.
Education:
· Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
· Open to rising Seniors
· Maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Experience:
· Available to work up to 40 hours per week between 6/03/24 and 8/23/2024 – Summer
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong communication skills
¨ Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with individuals at all levels.
¨ Excellent administrative skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based applications.
¨ Strong follow through and multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail.
