Marketing Intern - Summer 2024

About Our Internship Program

We are seeking motivated Marketing students for our Summer Internship Program. Selected students will participate in a meaningful and challenging 10-week summer internship that will allow each intern to have exposure to different facets of the business and receive critical business skills and career and personal development training. Interns will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects within a cross functional team of professionals and get exposure to leaders within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Interns will have the opportunity to work with either our product marketing, Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing, Retail & Sales, or Licensing teams, possible responsibilities include:

 

Channel Marketing

Assist with pricing, promotional strategies, and merchandising strategies working with field sales team to conduct competitive analysis.

Aid in the development and execution of quarterly promotional plans for some of our key distribution partners,

Assist in the analysis utilized to conduct effective forecasting and demand changes 

Assist with creating PowerPoints, pulling POS data, conducting research, and basic financial analysis as it relates to promotion effectiveness

Brand Marketing

Assist with development of marketing campaigns including content development for videos and press releases.

Work on product launches to deliver marketing materials to sales teams, review, edit and finalize POP materials and packaging within product marketing groups.

Track and control inventory of all merchandising materials 

Product Marketing

Gather market intelligence, conduct field research, support sales efforts, provide financial reporting and facilitate new product launches and reoccurring promotions including monitoring competitive activity and retail positioning.

Develop and implement systems to provide recurring financial & sales reports to support decisions related to the business’s short & long term strategies.

Construct internal and customer facing presentations to drive sales and support product development.

Drive creation of Product Launch materials and sales collateral, tracking and updating website content to reflect latest product offering.

Digital

Manage multiple monitoring profiles across measurement tools to evaluate the performance and efficiency of assets and campaigns.

Develop competitive benchmarks across platforms, summarizing key learning and highlights for various audiences across the organization

Develop content recommendations and run a social health and content analysis by analyzing how the organic and paid content of the SBD brans compare to their competitors on social media .

 

Our Requirements:

Rising Junior or Senior with a target graduation date of 2025 or 2026

Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in these related areas of study:

Marketing

Communications

Business Administration

Strong academic standing, GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Proven leadership and active participant in collaborative environments with strong project management and organizational skills.

Towson, MD

New Britain, CT

Valley City, Ohio
