Location 1 vacancy in the following location: Washington, DC
Duties:
- Designing layouts for publications, fact sheets, posters and other visual materials.
- Conceptualizing, designing, creating, and editing professional, detailed illustrations, charts, graphics, motion graphics, modern videos (including animation), 3D images, and sketches.
- Using computer systems and software programs to electronically generate visuals and enhance photo and video images.
- Advising customers on the technical advantages and disadvantages of various formats, styles, media and methods of reproduction to best meet the objectives of each project.
- Independently evaluating work projects for proper selection of medium, software, equipment, procedures, and digital imaging techniques.
- Produces creative graphic design work in conjunction with scientists, veterinarians, administrators, and other staff to create visual forms that convey intended messages to audiences through illustrations, websites, infographics.
- Creating storyboards and scripts, and shooting and editing videos for use on digital platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
