PRESTIGIOUS INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

LECOM Health, located in Erie, PA, is an established leader in behavioral health care providing mental health services and superlative care to individuals across the lifespan.

The behavioral health service line of LECOM Health is comprised of: LECOM Institute for Behavioral Health, the Achievement Center of LECOM Health, Corry Counseling of LECOM Health and Millcreek Community Hospital.

We are currently seeking students for the 2024 Spring & Summer semesters to participate in our training program and on-site rotations and who are searching for an exemplary practicum and internship opportunity made possible through a federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant.

 

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be in their final year of a Counseling, Social Work or Psychology Master's program. 
  • Applicants must commit to completing their practicum and internship with behavioral health service line of LECOM Health.

 

The grant placement provides extensive behavioral health supervision, training and learning opportunities as well as a $10,000 stipend to award winners, not all applicants will receive a stipend.
