2024 Summer Internship | Onboard Revenue

Brief Description of the Team:

The Onboard Revenue & Shore Excursion department plays a pivotal role in organizing, planning, and managing onshore activities and experiences for cruise passengers. Onshore, this team liaises with local tour operators and vendors to arrange diverse excursions, ensuring a variety of options that cater to passengers' interests. They negotiate contracts, coordinate logistics, and oversee the smooth execution of these experiences, striving to provide safe, enjoyable adventures. Additionally, they handle communication with passengers, offering detailed information, managing bookings, and addressing any queries or concerns regarding the excursions. Their goal is to enhance the overall cruise experience by curating memorable and engaging onshore activities that align with various preferences and needs.

Brief Description of the Internship: 

The intern would work alongside the Destinations team to develop new experiences, work with tour operators and create reporting on successes of global excursions.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills: 

  • Must be employed from June 3rd - August 9th, 2024 on a full-time basis at our Miramar offices and Miami Headquarters
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business or similar field
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship.
  • Role will require 40 hrs per week.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • High level of critical thinking
  • Proven leadership skills either in school or professional experience
  • Ability to think strategically while managing the details.
  • Proven capability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
