Social Media Intern Coordinator - Non-profit Volunteer

Trio House Press is in search of a Social Media Coordinator Volunteer. This position will require 10-12 hours per week. Duties include:

  • Supervising 2-3 social media interns and assigning them tasks
  • Working with press staff to create and update social media calendar
  • Monitoring social media to direct interns to repost and create posts around timely material
  • Assisting interns in the creation of and posting of material
  • Proofing and approving intern posts before they are posted
  • Compiling and analyzing metrics to fine-tune social media strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience as a social media intern or staff member
  • Coursework or experience in digital marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prompt response times
  • Experience using Canva
  • Experience editing video and creating reels
  • Interest in/familiarity with the literary community

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate-level coursework in creative writing
  • Interest in a career in publishing/small presses
