Digital Marketing Team Member

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Team Member  to join our dynamic marketing team. This candidate will be required to work 15+ hours a week during the 9:00am-5:00pm EST work hours.  This position is unpaid with a review at 180 days for a paid position with our team. The ideal candidate will have a versatile set of skills encompassing website management, SEO, PPC, and the ability to use various Google platforms. Key Responsibilities:

Website Management:

  • Utilize basic knowledge of WordPress and Shopify to manage and update company websites.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to implement changes and improvements.

SEO and PPC:

  • Understand and implement SEO best practices to optimize website performance.
  • Execute basic SEO and PPC strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to improve content and advertising campaigns.

Google Platforms:

  • Proficiently handle Google platforms, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics GA4, Google Search Console, Google Merchant, Google Ads, and Google My Business.
  • Set up and configure these platforms and ensure they work together seamlessly.
  • Implement conversion tracking to measure and analyze campaign effectiveness.

Third-Party SEO/SEM Tools:

  • Utilize third-party tools like SemRush, Ahrefs, or others for in-depth SEO and SEM analysis and reporting.

Technical SEO and Strategy:

  • Understand and implement basic technical SEO practices.
  • Collaborate on the development of basic SEO and PPC strategies to achieve marketing goals.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Be highly analytical when examining key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, campaign statistics, and general reporting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Client Task Management:

  • Efficiently manage tasks and communication with clients, ensuring the smooth execution of marketing campaigns.

Other Skills:

  • Proficiency in using Google Drive platforms, including Docs and Sheets.
  • Create graphics and visual content using Canva.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and Shopify.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and PPC concepts.
  • Familiarity with Google platforms and third-party SEO/SEM tools.
  • Ability to perform keyword research.
  • Knowledge of basic technical SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills for monitoring and reporting.
  • Effective client task management.
  • Proficiency with Google Drive and Canva.
  • Tech-savvy with a willingness to adapt to new tools and technologies.
