Pharmacy Intern

The Pharmacy Intern will assist the pharmacist with tasks and complete projects that develop professional skills necessary to be a competent pharmacist. All duties performed shall be under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist as required by state law. Responsibilities include: 1)Assist with the compounding and dispensing of medications including evaluation, review of patient outcome, labeling, and drug information. 2)Assist in providing drug information to the patient and other health care professionals. 3)Review patient admission drug history and transfer appropriate data to the patient profile. 4)Develop and provide written communications at an appropriate reading level for patients about medication therapy. 5)Assist in the development and patient education of overall clinical pharmacy programs.
