The Role
Donovan is currently looking for a Graphic Design Intern to fulfill a paid temporary position for the Spring Semester of 2024. The candidate will work with and assist the creative team. This internship provides the opportunity to get a wide range of experience in the advertising field by working with B2B and B2C businesses of all sizes. 

 

Individuals applying for this position should be detail oriented with the ability to complete tasks independently and on time while using the Adobe Creative Suite. 

Students looking for college credits are welcome to apply.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following activities: 

  • Utilizing industry standard software for print & web/digital media
  • Concepting and creative development
  • Participating in creative input sessions
  • Following workflow and proofing procedures
  • Preparing comps
  • Learning and using color correction procedures
  • Assisting the creative team with workload which may include but not limited to working on projects such as: advertisements, social media and digital, branding, packaging and presentations

     

Qualifications:

  • Graphic Design Background
  • At least two years relevant experience/schooling
  • Commitment to 2-3 days per week of the 2024 Spring Semester (hours are flexible to accommodate class schedule) between Mon-Fri 8-5

 

Important professional attributes include:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Basic front-end web design. WordPress and Video knowledge a plus.
