Revenue Growth Management Intern

This position will be a part of the Revenue Growth Management Team responsible for supporting Sales and the Business Unit (BU) to help set pricing, trade, and cost strategy. The role will provide exposure and experience opportunities for many of the following:

  • Gain an understanding of Revenue Growth Management including strategy, pricing, analytics, systems, and processes.
  • Gain a basic understanding of Tyson’s total portfolio, how we go to market, and our competitive position in the marketplace in the categories we compete in.
  • Learn about our sales channels and significant customers.
  • Gain an understanding of each line item in our P&L’s.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of each of our cross-functional partners such as Sales, BU’s, Finance, Sales Finance, Trade Payables, and IT.
  • Engage with RGM teammates to evaluate and act upon business opportunities.
  • Engage with RGM teammates to develop or enhance systems and/or processes to drive efficiency and enable volume and profit growth.
  • Communicate relevant issues to (and attain feedback from) RGM and cross-functional team members both in meetings and in offline conversations on business opportunities to maximize total margins.
  • Expand experience with and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, OneNote, Outlook, Word, and Adobe.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Incoming junior, senior or MBA with at least one year of school remaining preferred, sophomore with exceptional skills would be considered. Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, and Marketing majors preferred.

Experience: Previous work experience in any field.

Computer Skills: Strong Excel skills required.  Power BI, Power Apps and PowerPoint skills preferred.

Supervisory: None
Special Skills: Highly organized and capable to manage multiple projects at once.
