About The Job 

Football University (FBU) with 3STEP Sports is seeking a paid seasonal intern out of their Indianapolis, IN office. The purpose of the role is to represent help FBU in its effort to recruit players, coaches, youth teams and parents to participate in FBU Events: FBU Regional Camps, FBU Middle School National Championship Tournament, FBU Futures Showcase, FBU Freshman All-American Bowl, National Combine and All-American Bowl on NBC. 


Role Requirements 

  • Support FBU Corporate Sales Call Center – inbound and outbound calls 
  • Provide daily sales updates/reports to Director of Sales, Marketing and Sponsorships
  • Meet defined sales goals and objectives as defined by Director 
  • Provide support in gathering & reviewing game film for FBU Events 
  • Build book of relationships to network and promote FBU Events Nationally
  • Employee will receive hourly stipend & sales-based bonuses as defined by Director
  • Weekly hours will fluctuate between 12-15 hours (based on need/demand)
  • Must be able to work out of Indianapolis, IN office 
  • Willing to provide support in other lines of FBU business 

 

Role Experience & Skills 

  • General knowledge of youth, middle school, high school, college & pro football preferred, but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in person and on the phone
  • Sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Word, and Excel; ability to utilize and master CRM and time management software

  • Compensation:   Hourly plus commission
