Creative Intern
Hirons’ creative internship is for students with strong conceptual graphic design and extreme attention to detail. To be considered, applicants must be a current sophomore, junior, senior, master’s student or recent graduate in good academic standing.
Preferred majors include: Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, Visual Communication and Advertising.
This is a paid position; the ideal candidate has availability of 20 hours per week. Spring 2024 internship applications will close Monday, November 27.
Responsibilities:
- Work on graphic design projects for the agency and its outside clients
- Work collaboratively within the agency’s creative team
- Work independently and check in frequently with their supervisor to solve problems and update project statuses
- Follow all internal procedures, particularly quality control procedures
Qualifications:
- Passionate about conceptual graphic design
- Working experience in creating advertising, print and web designs
- A total team player
- Extreme attention to detail in work quality
- Well-organized and able to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding and appreciation of graphic design, color theory, typography and layout
- Ability to take constructive criticism and implement creative direction
- Experience working in:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Dreamweaver (optional)
- PowerPoint (optional)
- WordPress (optional)
