Title: Research Analyst

Company Profile: Capital Strategies Investment Group LLC (CAP STRAT) is a boutique investment advisory firm. We provide fiduciary investment advisory, private wealth, and asset management services to institutional and individual investors. We are 100% employee-owned and are a Registered Investment Advisor with the SEC.

Position Description: The Research Analyst will support CAP STRAT’s investment research and asset management capabilities by performing in-depth quantitative and fundamental analysis on global financial markets, investment securities, and investment managers (e.g. mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·        Evaluating near- and long-term fundamentals of specific asset classes,

·        Analyzing an investment security’s ability to generate desired investment returns,

·        Evaluating investment manager style, strategy, and execution over time,

·        Recommending investments to be included in client portfolios,

·        Preparing and delivering presentations for current and prospective clients, and

·        Assisting in forming CAP STRAT’s economic and financial market outlook.

Requirements/Qualifications:

·        BS or BA in business, with coursework in Investments, Economics, and Statistics,

·        Demonstrated interest in and passion for investment research,

·        Proven ability to make positive contributions to a team or workplace culture,

·        Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills,

·        Strong analytical thinking skills, both quantitative and qualitative,

·        Excellent attention to detail,

·        Ability to work independently and in a team setting,

·        Strong time management and organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment, and

·        Significant experience in using MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
