We are very committed to training and mentoring the right candidate and you will be working closely with our Executive Director, so there will be ample opportunity for both.
Previous experience with audio editing (Audition, Audacity, etc) is nearly a requirement for obvious reasons, but even this we would teach from scratch for the right candidate. Other desirable qualities are great organizational skills, recording experience, social media savvy, and ideally a strong interest in music and/or world cultures.
But the one non-negotiable for this position is a strong work ethic.
Check with your school's Internship Coordinator before accepting any hiring offer to determine if this position satisfies the criteria for receiving academic credit.
