Corporate Sales Intern - Summer 2024

Interns will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background, skill set and interests. Internship Format

The format for this internship will be remote, meaning the intern will work virtually for the duration of their internship.  Relocation and housing will not be provided.  In some cases, business travel may be required. Remote work must be completed at a location based in the United States.

Department Details

The Sales internship experience introduces how we build, market, distribute and sell vehicles to our dealers, fleet/government accounts as well as the retail customer. You will have exposure to multiple headquarters departments within sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain and be given assignments and projects that directly support our Sales senior management team. Typical workload may include extensive competitive analysis, creation of marketing & advertising materials, digital campaigns, event planning, and incentive cost evaluation as well as exposure to daily departmental tasks such as national reporting and communications.

Sales interns are not just observers but a true extension of our headquarters team. Our goal is to prepare you for an eventual full-time entry-level Field Sales position within one of our nine Stellantis field offices.

Requirements

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher degree in Business, Sales, Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of sophomore year or higher at an accredited university by the spring of 2024
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry
  • Proven track record of teamwork and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Retail and/or dealership job experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and G Suite applications with extensive spreadsheet experience
