School Nurse - Long Term Substitute

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking a Permanent Substitute Certified School Nurse at Jefferson Middle School for an extended assignment through January 2025.
This is a full-time, on-site, temporary assignment, beginning November 14, 2023, and extending through the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year, as well as the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year.
Permanent Substitute assignments are a full semester in length or more, and are eligible for a prorated salary based on the degree level daily rate at Step 1 of the teacher salary schedule, with rates starting at $269 per day. These assignments are also eligible for paid time off in the form of sick and personal days, and health insurance benefits, with a monthly employee contribution, during the term of the assignment, or a stipend in lieu of benefits.
In order to be eligible to apply, the candidate must hold an active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania AND a School Nurse PK-12 Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, or equivalent authorization in the form of a college/university placeholder letter stating completion of a PDE approved school nurse preparation program while certification is pending through PDE.
