Overview

• Idaho Gives –designed to raise money and awareness for Idaho nonprofits– is looking for an individual to assist with the coordination of community events around the state.

Duties will include:

• Work closely with the Program Operations Manager for event coordination
• Liaise with and connect nonprofit leaders to organize community events across the state
• Create a how-to template for nonprofits to coordinate their own events in the future
• Participate in the Idaho Gives festivities on April 29 - May 2, 2024

The successful Work U student will be:

• Interest in event or project management
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks
• Work independently –when needed– and adhere to deadlines
• Interest in nonprofits, charitable campaigns, and community building

Skills you will develop:

• Ability to work with many departments and voices to achieve one goal
• New skills in project management
• Working with a diverse group of individuals and improve communications skills
• Knowledge of nonprofit culture in Idaho
