
Internship – Digital Product Marketing, Direct Digital Marketing (Spring 2024)
Spring 2024 Semester:

JOB SUMMARY: The Digital Product Marketing team is responsible for driving omni-channel marketing strategies to drive awareness and new digital products developed by the Digital & Technology division of Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX). The intern will collaborate with various stakeholders throughout UDX as well as teams throughout the Marketing & Sales organization to identify integration points with existing teams, along with facilitating organizational awareness and execution of new campaigns in support of digital products.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzes data from various sources to construct a strategic perspective.
- Collaborates with creative teams on the development and delivery on creative inputs and assets.
- Develops a deep understanding of the product’s strategies, key features, and target audiences to drive the creation of marketing plans through work with stakeholders throughout Product, UX/UI, PMO and Business Transformation.
- Participates in critical thinking to support the creation of marketing strategy to support business objectives.
- Contributes to the development of sustainable and scalable marketing/technology processes.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- An official transcript may be required upon request.
- Preferred majors include: Marketing, Finance, Communications.
EXPERIENCE: Prior Marketing or Internship experience related to position is preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
- Interest in the Universal Brand required.
- Proficiency in Mac OS and Keynote preferred.
- Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Superior written & verbal communication skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
- Consistent attendance.

- This internship will be a hybrid experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2024.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
