About this Pre-Internship

This 3-week pre-internship is designed to teach you everything you need to know to land an internship, co-op, or professional experience at the upcoming career fair. 
1. Complete 5-10 hours of work each week to learn the basics of succeeding in your first job (internship, co-op, or full-time role)
2. Work with a cohort of other talented college students to refine your resume, elevator pitch, and professional readiness
3. Meet & network with successful professionals at some of today's top organizations like Apple, Medline, GE, and more
 

Who should apply?

  • Are you a college student looking to boost your internship readiness before the next career fair? All grade levels & majors are encouraged to apply!
     
  • Anyone seeking a flexible option to gain professional experience and level up their resume during their break. This is a unique opportunity allowing you to participate while working another job, catching up on sleep following finals, or spending time at home before another busy semester.
     
  • No regional limitations! All programming is 100% virtual and flexible to your schedule. Please indicate if you are an international students in your application.
     
  • We especially encourage those without prior professional experience to apply!
     


Program Breakdown
This program is a mix of live and recorded virtual sessions to share key tips, resources, and networking opportunities to land your next internship, co-op, or full-time job. Not quite a class, not quite an internship - it's a pre-internship! 

Each week, you and the cohort of students will participate in a weekly virtual session to kick things off. Complete asynchronous recorded videos and written lessons to prepare for individual assignments and your team workshop (with 3-4 other students from across the country). 

We'll also be joined by mentors from across industries & companies in HR roles, technical roles, and more. Topics will include insights into working at a startup, landing a job at Company X (depending on the speaker), being a successful intern, and more!
