
Internship – Organizational Development, Human Resources (Spring 2024)
Spring 2024 Semester:

JOB SUMMARY: Intern will provide administrative and analytical support for Human Resources/Organizational Development processes requiring presentations of data/information and maintenance of systems and processes (e.g., life cycle surveys, performance management, Talent Review, team effectiveness sessions, focus groups, etc.). In this role, interns will learn practical application of OD/I/O interventions in a large-scale company.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports surveys, data gathering, data entry, and data analysis.
- Plans and coordinates Team Member satisfaction recognition efforts.
- Plans and coordinates events and provides exemplary guest service by assisting and satisfying guest’s or internal client’s needs.
- Supports core Organizational Development team with large-scale survey results and report quality checks.
- Provides responses to clients on major process questions, including utilizing online systems for producing reports, researching questions, and referencing data.
- Creates and maintains training materials and guides.
- Provides administrative support by using established templates, downloading raw data and applicable reports, and summarize basic qualitative feedback.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- An official transcript may be required upon request.
- Preferred majors include: Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources.
EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in the following areas is preferred:
- Internship experience related to position.
- Verbatim comment coding, categorizing, and summarizing
- Data compilation and analysis.
- Event planning and coordination.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
- Must possess a strong ability in technical writing.
- Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Superior written & verbal communication skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
- Consistent attendance.

- This internship will be an hybrid experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2024.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
