Senator Bob Casey's Spring 2024 Internship

Senator Casey is pleased to offer internships in his Washington, DC and Pennsylvania offices to undergraduate and graduate students during the upcoming summer.

Interns in the Washington office will gain first-hand knowledge of the legislative process and of the daily operations of a Senate office by working with constituents and staff on issues affecting Pennsylvania. Interns in the Pennsylvania offices will gain first-hand knowledge of community outreach, event staffing, and constituent services.

Internships are part-time, so students may contend with simultaneous coursework. However, interns are still expected to work a substantial minimum of hours per week:

• Washington interns must work at least 20 hours per week.
• Pennsylvania interns must work at least 15 hours per week.

While our office welcomes all applicants, preference will be given to candidates with a Pennsylvania background.
