Solution Architect - Summer 2024 Internship

The Solutions Architect is responsible for the deployment of Computer Aided Dispatch Systems, Mobile Applications, and Records Management Systems. The team deploys software applications and interfaces in the public safety market for government and municipal projects.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and implements interface deployment activities in a time-sensitive manner.

Ensures customer-delivered systems are fully functional prior to going live in production.

Troubleshoots system issues, network issues, and infrastructure problems.

Delivers solutions within the context of a defined product, standard interfaces, and limited flexibility.

Collaborates with internal and external work partners to understand both the business and technical requirements, and deployment strategy toward a successful solution implementation.

Familiarity with Windows Server, VMWare/ESXi/Virtual Machines, and Java is helpful.

Is a self-motivated team player.

Has excellent communication skills.

Complies with corporate requirements and training.

Qualification:

• Working towards a Bachelor's OR Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers

Basic Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Science or Master's Degree with a graduation date in or after December 2024.

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
