IS Developer Analyst Intern (Low-Code Dev/RPA) - Summer 2024

Covering a variety of business areas and needs, our internships are available to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. Engineered for personal and professional development, our summer program runs for ten weeks from early June through mid-August.

 

As a Low-Code Software Technologies Intern on the Digital Automation team, you will have the chance to work closely with our Information Systems teams, gaining hands-on experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and low-code development platforms such as UiPath, Outsystems, and/or PowerApps.

 

Projects/responsibilities could include:

·        Collaborate with our Information Systems Manager and development teams to understand business processes and identify areas for automation using RPA.

·        Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying RPA solutions using UiPath, focusing on process optimization and efficiency.

·        Participate in the creation of low-code applications using platforms like Outsystems or PowerApps, contributing to the design, development, and deployment phases.

·        Learn about the integration of RPA bots and low-code applications with various systems and databases, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.

·        Work on real projects that align with the company's goals and objectives, gaining practical experience and exposure to the entire software development lifecycle.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide input on user experience (UX) design, and troubleshoot technical issues.

·        Assist in documenting processes, workflows, and technical specifications to ensure clarity and maintainability of developed solutions.

·        Stay updated on industry trends related to RPA and low-code development, and propose innovative ideas for process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
  • Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field

·        Strong interest in automation, RPA, and low-code technologies.

·        Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#) is a plus

·        Prior experience with UiPath, Outsystems, PowerApps, or similar platforms is beneficial but not mandatory

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically

·        A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate.

·        Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
