Climate Ready Hawai'i VISTA Leader
The VISTA Leader will expand on existing efforts to build state and county capacity to address climate change in the state. The Position will providing support to up to 9 members during their service year through professional development, engagement opportunities and community connections. As a member of the Climate Ready Hawaii cohort the Leader will facilitate breaking down silos though peer to peer learning and group projects. The Leader will look at previous community engagement completed by the cohort and identify what has worked and areas to improve including how the commission has addressed social justice and climate equity. The Vista Lead will support the CCMAC work and the Coordinator through administrative support, coordination and organization of meetings and events, creating standard operating procedure documents, grant writing, research, outreach and various other duties as assigned.
