Senior Ethics & Compliance Partner

The Senior Compliance Partner plays a key role on the Ethics & Compliance team. This position is responsible for maintaining the enterprise-wide policy, process, and program matrix, as well as the record retention program. This is a very visible position requiring close collaboration with multiple departments, locations, and subject matter experts across the organization.

Highlights of your role

Policy Management

  • Draft and review policies and process for all business units
  • Coordinate ongoing review and updating of policies and processes partnering cross functionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Maintain policy library system
  • Periodically audit policy library
  • Support continuous improvement and evolution of the program
  • Support development of a monitoring and auditing program for prioritized risk programs

Record Retention

  • Maintain and mature the Marvin Records Policy and Schedule. Draft additional record management policies and procedures as needed to comply with Federal, State, and local regulations
  • Work closely with Information Security and Technology, create and maintain metadata and folder structure incorporated in electronic document management systems for Marvin, create automated records filing process in various systems
  • Perform reviews/updates on Marvin Records Retention Schedules by interviewing employees and conducting records inventories
  • Participate in audits for conformance to records management procedures and storage
  • Provide records management training to all relevant Marvin employees, including the on-boarding and orientation processes
  • Provide record management awareness and guidance to Marvin employees as needed

You're a good fit if you have

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Compliance certification is required.
  • 4-6 years relevant experience in compliance policy writing, maintenance and management, and knowledge of Federal, State, and local records retention guidelines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills across all levels of an organization with multiple locations.
