Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Planning and Deployment Analyst - JC-393634
Energy Division/ Distribution Planning Branch/Transportation Electrification Section:
Under the guidance of senior analysts and direction from the Project and Program Supervisor, the analyst will lead the development of the charging infrastructure program reporting requirements and work with consultants, other team members, stakeholders and utility staff to implement the long-term reporting solution. In addition, the analyst will support transportation electrification charging infrastructure planning and deployment activities, including vehicle-to-grid integration technology and policy, load management and rates, program oversight and research, and assessment of infrastructure needs. In this role, the analyst will assist high-level decision-makers such as Commissioners, Judges, and Energy Division management.
Other responsibilities include verifying compliance with proceedings, CPUC rules and policies, reviewing and analyzing compliance filings, and preparing appropriate dispositions. The analyst will assist with workshops, meet and collaborate with utilities and other stakeholders. The analyst will perform other work as necessary, such as writing and presenting reports, coordinating with other California organizations and agencies (e.g., the California Energy Commission, the California Air Resources Board, California Independent System Operator), management of consulting contracts, and responding to general inquiries.
