Infrastructure - 2024 Undergraduate Summer Internship

Eligibility:            

•             Polen Capital’s intern program is open to rising college or university seniors (graduating in December 2024 or Spring 2025) 

Duration:            

•             9 weeks beginning in June 2024

•             Interns must be able to commit to the full length of the program

•             All internships are in person, paid, and include housing and travel assistance 

Deadline:            

•             Polen Capital will be receiving applications until October 6, 2023

As a Polen Undergraduate Summer Intern, you will:

 

  • Gain hands-on exposure to our asset management business, investment philosophy and process 
  • Participate in leadership and skill-based training, speaker series, and firmwide events alongside full-time employees and fellow Summer Interns
  • Collaborate with team members to produce tangible results on projects that are a business imperative to the firm 
  • Complete a Capstone Project and present results to the firm, in addition to supplemental team project work

Summer Interns may be considered for full-time roles post-graduation. 

 

Infrastructure (Boca Raton)

 

The Infrastructure team designs, manages, and supports hardware, software, and network 

essentials. Includes, servers, data storage, network switches and firewalls.

 

As an Infrastructure intern, you will….

Documentation and Analysis:

  • Assist in documenting current infrastructure and ITSM processes.
  • Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for improvement.

ServiceNow Configuration:

  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow development team to configure ITSM modules.
  • Customize ServiceNow forms, workflows, and UI elements as required.

Data Management:

  • Help with data migration and integration tasks between different ITSM tools and systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the ServiceNow platform.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Participate in testing new ITSM features and functionalities.
  • Report and track bugs and issues found during testing.

User Training and Support:

  • Assist in creating user documentation and training materials.
  • Provide support to end-users for ITSM-related queries and issues.

 

Required Skills: Understanding of network systems and network protocols. Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) and server architecture. Windows automation.
