Client Group Marketing Rotational Associate

Location: Nashville, TN

About the Department:

The Client Group is one of AB’s largest strategic business units, with functions that range considerably throughout the firm. The program will ultimately expose the intern to the lifecycle of an investment product, from the initial generation of the idea to researching interest in the marketplace to crafting our message and finally, distributing our products and servicing our Institutional and

Retail clients.

Marketing: promotes the firm and its services by creating, packaging and distributing content and messaging to engage diverse audiences through digital platforms and initiatives, strategic campaigns, and events

What You'll Do:

Our Client Group Rotational Associate Program is hiring graduating seniors to work at our headquarters in Nashville, TN. Each Associate will participate in up to 4 six-month rotations over a two-year period. Each rotation will require you to learn a new, or expand an existing, skill set and complete projects that are critical to the success of the group, department or firm. Any relevant certifications and designations you wish to pursue, such as the Series 7 and CFA, will be sponsored by the firm. During the program you will also be matched with mentors who will help with your assimilation into the firm. Upon successful completion of each rotation, you will present what you learned and contributed to a committee of senior Client Group executives and program administrators. Associates will meet with program leaders to review available career paths and work together to determine their next rotation (based on the firm’s needs and the Associates’ interests). Once your final rotation concludes, you will be placed into a fixed role within the firm.

What We’re Looking For:

Candidates should be top academic performers, be interested in the investment management industry and meet the following criteria:

May or June 2024 Bachelor’s degree candidates marketing, communications, public relations, UX/design, product development, audiovisual communication, and/or related fields of study

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player and self-starter
Detail-oriented, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skillset with the ability to find actionable, pragmatic solutions to complex problems
Client-focused with a high degree of professionalism, motivation, and initiative
Familiarity with digital media platforms
Relevant marketing experience (on-or-off campus; either through part time jobs, academic clubs, or volunteer experiences)
Unique experiences that demonstrate creative instinct, passion for marketing and deep consumer empathy
Candidates must be available to work full-time from June through August.
Experience with Microsoft Applications, Adobe XD & Creative Cloud, Project Management tools and Communication tools
Eligible to work in the US, without sponsorship
It is not permissible to simultaneously take academic classes or hold other employment that will conflict with the internship schedule.
Selected candidates will need to successfully complete a thorough background check.
