Bilingual Immigration Paralegal

Project Rousseau’s Immigration Legal Services team is looking to hire a full-time, bilingual immigration paralegal to assist our clients with applications for asylum, SIJS, and other forms of immigration relief.

Project Rousseau’s immigration legal services is currently responding to the wave of new arrivals in New York City from the Southern Border. Join our team to have an immeasurable impact at this time of need.

Responsibilities will include:

1. To provide paralegal assistance to our Immigration Legal Services team.

2. To assist with translation of documents related to immigration legal services

3. To maintain an orderly filing system and Docketwise CRM for our cases

4. To schedule screenings and meetings pertaining ot Immigration Legal Services

5. To take on and propose other responsibilities as you and the Organization see fit, within the parameters of the Organization’s mission and your skills and interests, to best fulfill the Organization’s mission to help underserved youth reach their full potential and pursue higher education.

Qualifications include:

• 2+ years of paralegal experience
• Bilingual in English and either Spanish, Dari, or French
