Part-Time Preschool Teacher at Early Childcare Facility
Summary: A Good Start Preschool in Columbia, MO has a part-time preschool teacher position available (25 to 30 hours per week). The time is flexible with more hours possible during breaks and off school days. You will have the opportunity to work in a friendly environment and be part of an enthusiastic, dedicated team. Job Description: Assist in our 2 & 3 year old class or with our 4 & 5 year old classes in either morning and/or afternoon programs in the classroom and on the playground. The person selected for this position must , love children, can handle tense & stressful situations when working with children, and is willing to learn and be a part of a employee friendly environment.
Requirements:
- Some early childhood education experience
- Sensitive and mature individual
- Ability to relate well to both children and adults
- Must pass a criminal background search
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Change diapers and help with toilet training when needed
- Supervise children and keep them safe during inside and outside play times
- Work as part of the A Good Start team for the safety of all the children
