Overview:
The Intern Program is being offered to college students that have an interest in learning about the investment banking industry and the day-to-day responsibilities of full-time Analysts. Interns quickly become active members of a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Specifically, they will support dedicated project teams working on live client engagements, including M&A transactions and buy-side research efforts, as well as business development projects such as pitch presentations. Throughout the program, Interns will gain insight into the M&A and corporate development process and the key factors that lead to successful transactions. At the end of the program, high performing Interns may be considered for full-time Analyst positions upon the completion of their undergraduate degree.
Responsibilities:
The primary role of Interns is to support Alantra’s junior banking professionals working on active client engagements and new business opportunities. Daily responsibilities will generally include drafting presentation materials, conducting in-depth industry research and analysis, developing target company profiles, assisting with financial modeling and valuation analyses, and other ad hoc projects.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Strong academic performance (GPA of 3.5 or higher)
- Prior relevant professional internship experience preferred
- Sincere interest in investment banking and a desire to learn
- Strong writing and quantitative skills
- High level of personal integrity and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively both in teams and individually
- Attention to detail and ability to balance many projects at once
- Prior experience with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
