Human Resources Coordinator

Provides a variety of recruitment and employment related administrative support and general office practices for the Employment Office of Human Resources – Sarasota and Venice Hospital, and effectively represents Sarasota Memorial Hospital in interactions and communications with employees, management staff, applicants, outside vendors, agency personnel, attorneys, and others.


Required Qualifications

- Require Associates Degree in Business or related field. Additional relevant work experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the degree.
Require minimum of five (5) years recent related experience. Prefer experience in a Human Resources Division or Employment Office of a similarly sized health care institution.


Preferred Qualifications


- Prefer excellent customer skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of staff and the public, both in person and by telephone.
- Prefer thorough knowledge of PC/software applications and word processing skills.
- Prefer the ability to work independently and problem solve effectively.
- Prefer the ability to satisfactorily manage multiple duties/projects simultaneously.

  • 7:30a-4:00p Monday-Friday
  • No weekends
  • Required to attend hospital wide orientation to represent the Talent Acquisition Team at the Registration booth
  • Manage the termination list
  • Collaborate with the HRIS/Compliance team to ensure that employees have the appropriate department access
  • Manages new hire process of facilitating Level II AHCA clearance checks to include finger printing
  • Creating and printing badges
  • Works collaboratively with the Human Resources team members
