Project Manager, Clinical Content Hub, Haymarket Medical Communications Group

 

Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join the Clinical Content Hub team. This position is located in our NYC office.

 

Job Overview:

Haymarket Media, Inc., is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic individual who can oversee all aspects of project management for our Clinical Content Hub (CCH), which generates a suite of specialized, on-demand editorial products. This full-time hybrid position (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) is located in our New York City office, just a few blocks from Penn Station.

 

The CCH Project Manager will monitor all aspects of project execution for special collections across Haymarket’s medical brands (cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, hematology/oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, optometry, nephrology, primary care, psychiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology, and urology). This individual will be responsible for creating and enforcing adherence to timelines, providing regular status updates, and conducting faculty recruitment, among other tasks.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Working collaboratively with members of the Clinical Content Hub team to ensure the execution of on-demand clinical content to be published on the Haymarket Medical Network sites.
  • Creating, maintaining, and adhering to project timelines, from onset through publication, via Workfront
  • Providing weekly internal status reports, including communicating status of posted projects to greater business
  • Generating posted project metrics reports
  • Monitoring life-cycle of projects to identify opportunities for internal syndication
  • Serving as liaison with art department for creative assets
  • Obtaining references for content development
  • Recruiting faculty to participate in projects
  • Processing purchase orders and invoices
  • Communicating with web development team, as needed

 

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English/Journalism/Communications with a strong background in the biological sciences or a Bachelor's Degree in science with strong editing skills preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in program/project management in medical education/communication/advertising industry
  • Proficiency with Workfront or other program management software
  • Excellent reading comprehension, listening and analytical skills, and oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint required
  • Proficiency with WordPress or another content management system preferred
  • A successful record of handling multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines
  • Experience as a strong team player who can work cross-functionally within an organization and follow through on all assigned tasks
