
Pricing Administrator
Job Summary:
The Pricing Administrator is responsible for responding to pricing and informational requests from various internal and external sources and performs margin analysis of data.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the analysis of customer needs and uses this information for the purposes of generating pricing, drafting customer quotations on custom blends and stock items, and working with Sales Department to optimize profits and margins.
- Understand implication of cost as it relates to pricing.
- Analyze and structure long-term pricing agreements, by locking-down pricing and reviewing raw ingredient costs in consultation with the Purchasing Department.
- Review daily orders for missing information during the booking process and accurately troubleshoot incomplete information.
- Perform accurate billing auditing using knowledge of cost/price/margin benefit analysis.
- Interface with Sales Department to address customer’s requirements as relating to rebate and incentive contracts/programs.
- Process pricing requests involving Newly Weds Foods’ internal and external customers.
- Manage long-term incentive programs based on customer volume, monitoring related contractual obligations, and providing regular updates to the Accounting Department.
- Act as point person for communication of incentive program agreements at the direction of the supervisor.
- Responsible for accurate data entry and maintenance of customer’s product files.
- Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- Strong communication, analytical abilities and organization skills.
- High level of competence in Adobe applications, Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
