Javascript and React Native Developer
StageWood Consortium, a Florida based start-up working to deliver a new social media platform for the entertainment industry, is looking for Javascript and React Native Developer interns. The Software Engineer interns will be involved in performing hands-on software design and implementation and also practice team building and collaboration skills while working with the development and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prototype, design and implement end-to-end applications.
- Design for scalability, performance, and robustness
- Deliver user friendly, reliable solutions
- Outline internal automation, tools, and infrastructure
Minimum required qualifications:
- Enrolled or completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
- Some Experience in Javascript and React Native with background in developer response mobile apps across multiple platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and practical understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
- Native app experience in Android or iOS
- Good understanding of APIs.
- Fluency in front-end state management practices, like Redux, Flux or similar.
- Experience with HTML rendering, and all of its variants.
- Knowledge of authentication patterns (Cookies, JWT and OAuth, etc).
- Experienced in the DevOps environment.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, i.e., software design, integration, and deployment technologies (CI/CD, DevOps, unit testing, git)
- Good understanding of AWS Cloud Platform.
- Conduct periodic code reviews with the development team
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps Boards/Figma.
Bonus:

- Experience writing backend code
- Understanding of forward-looking API contracts for backend development teams to implement
- Github Actions, Docker and general experience with CI
