Summer Internship

We’re looking for Interns to join us in our Leawood, KS office for the summer of 2024 that will run from May to August.  As an Intern, you’ll be responsible for learning about custom software solutions and assisting members of the Software Architecture, Cloud, and Consulting Teams with both client and internal projects. Successful graduates of the 27G Internship Program will be considered for full-time employment after graduation. 

Your Role: 

  • Write code and contribute to internal and external software products, including fixing bugs, adding new features, or working on specific assigned tasks. 
  • Complete code reviews, and write unit tests. 
  • Validate 27G’s architectural scaffolding and templates for current clients. 
  • Assist with documentation throughout our custom software development project life cycle.
  • Work in an Agile development environment by attending standups, defining user stories, and implementing development tasks. 

What you bring: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and will be in your final year of study in the 2024-2025 school year
  • Completion of at least one programming course
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in software development 
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to think critically 

Ways to stand out:
