Our primary purpose is to provide financial resources and transportation engineering assistance for public roads that service the transportation needs of Federal and Indian lands. The FLH provides these services in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and US Territories through our Headquarters, Eastern, Central, and Western Federal Lands Highway Division offices.

The interns will be assigned to CFLHD, which covers 14 central and western states (including Hawaii). These internships will be in the Construction Branch working on a construction project within our area of jurisdiction. Interns will be assisting FLH project engineers and staff overseeing the construction of roadway, trail, and bridge projects. Through this internship, you will gain practical skills and experience in civil engineering that will be the foundation of your career!
