Digital Personalization Specialist

Sentara Health is currently hiring a Digital Personalization Specialist for the Consumer Market team!

 

This is a full-time position with day shift hours and excellent benefits!

 

The position is REMOTE – work from home is available only in these states:

As a Digital Personalization Advisor, you’ll support leaders within the Marketing and Consumer Experience team in making key strategic decisions by driving owned channel consumer engagement testing and personalization optimizations.

 

This is an operational role in which you will be responsible for the solution, set-up, and execution of A/B tests across web content management systems, focused on driving personalization, consumer engagement, and consumer outcomes. You will work alongside technical partners such as web developer vendors, UX teams, and agile testing pod, supporting the decision-making collectively, you will work to improve digital user experience and ensure the stability and scalability of the agile team's continuous improvement and optimizations.

 

To do well in this role, you need strong technical expertise across content management system (CMS) and personalization platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and the drive to formulate innovative design tactics informed by data and insights. You are expected to be a creative problem solver who enjoys coming up with new ideas to engage consumers across the digital landscape.

 

We're looking for someone who cares deeply about healthcare and is passionate about improving the consumer experience with Sentara.

 

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in digital content delivery and setting up site personalization.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field. 

Technical competency in content management systems and personalization tools required (e.g., Sitecore, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

Understanding of web analytics and experience setting up audience profiles and tracking.

Understanding of personas and journey mapping.

Experience with conducting A/B test experiments is preferred.

Passion for personalization, technology integration, and automation.

Excellent communication skills, analytical orientation, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to think critically and develop data-driven and practical recommendations to support overall digital marketing strategies and efforts.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

 

Responsibilities

Drive agile consumer engagement through A/B testing various site treatments to improve user experience.

Set up, manage, and analyze experiments in personalization tool and integrate with CMS when needed.

Track, analyze, and understand digital or website visitor behavior and conceive personalization ideas.

Use platforms like content management systems (e.g., web, mobile) to load test content to CMS and track ongoing performance.

Deliver test analysis and insights, advice on future tests, and next steps.

Present data and findings clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
