Network Intelligence Operational Specialist Intern - Breakthrough

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Network Intelligence Operational Specialist Intern for our Summer 2024 internship program!

The Network Intelligence Operational Specialist Intern is a Client Delivery role that works closely with our Client Delivery team. This intern will partner with the team to handle carrier requests, manage support inquires and other activities that help deliver distinguished service for Breakthrough clients. A Network Intelligence Operational Specialist Intern must demonstrate critical thinking skills along with the ability to build relationships with internal teammates.

This position will sit at our Breakthrough office in Green Bay, WI. The internship will begin May 2024 through August 2024.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and partner with the Network Intelligence team to manage internal and external inquiries regarding Breakthrough’s fuel and freight services and our FELIX platform. 
  • Resolve inbound carrier fuel inquiries. 
  • Ability to problem solve and raise concerns when they arise. 
  • Learn transportation and energy industry best practices. 
  • Leverage data and visualizations to support analysis and decision making.  
  • Additional tasks and projects as assigned. 
  • Major Project: Use, review and provide a written critique and recommendations of the UX of FELIX Network Intelligence for the next generation of supply chain professionals. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working toward a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Product Management. 
  • Proficiency in MS office (MS Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Vast use of web-based applications 
  • Experience using Business Intelligence applications is a plus.
