Health Needs Assessment- Research Assistant

The Child Adolescent Health Division (CAHD) works to positively impact the lives of youth by providing access to care and innovative approaches to health education and leadership development. 

 

CAHD is seeking two paid interns to work with the Peer Leadership Institute and Health Resource Center to assist with a community health assessment. The intern will research and engage the community in defining the most vulnerable youth and gaps in services. We are looking for a candidate with strong research and communication skills and with good time management skills. Tasks will include assisting with research, project management, planning and coordination of meetings and events, building relationships with partners and stakeholders, community outreach and engagement in focus groups and advisory boards, and other tasks related to the health needs assessment. This project is for someone with strong research and communication skills. 

 

10-15 hours a week

  • Ability to identify health education needs, strengths, and resources available to youth in Boston.

 

 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate or graduate student
  • Strong research skills
  • Strong communication skills

Pay rate: 

Undergraduate: $14.75 per hour

Graduate: $17.75 per hour
