Acoustics & Noise Control Intern
The Opportunity
As an Acoustics & Noise Control Intern on Black & Veatch's Environmental and Land team, you will:
Support projects of various sizes and scopes in noise regulatory review, ambient noise surveys, and/or noise emissions modeling
Perform a variety of tasks to support acoustical consulting, design, and technical report production
Coordinate with other disciplines
Collect, organize, and evaluate data
Organize and file project materials and references
Assist with research and other tasks related to business development and marketing of Acoustics and Noise Control services

Preferred Qualifications
Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree track preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
No experience required. Current enrollment at a university in related program of specialty. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Work Environment
Professionals located near a Black & Veatch office have the option of a hybrid work model that offers a balance between working together in person and the flexibility of remote work. Our hybrid work model means you will work three days in the office and two days from another location of your choice.
This hybrid role will be located in Overland Park, Kansas or Denver, Colorado.
