Summer 2024 Internship - Talent Management Analyst

Human Resources & Development - Talent Management division is seeking a 2024 Summer Intern. The Talent Management division is comprised of a group of learning and development professionals, designers, digital communication specialists, analysts, and deployment coordinators committed to helping State Farm leaders and employees better serve customers and support company priorities and commitments. Our goal is to develop and support leaders and employees to best serve our customers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Researches, evaluates, and implements programs, strategies, and best practices to develop, attract, and retain the best talent to meet the organization's needs
  • Partners with HR&D functions and business areas to execute learning, development and acquisition strategies and best practices
  • Analyzes labor market and internal trends that may impact State Farms business and develops solutions to advance company objectives
  • Focuses on transforming State Farms attraction, development, and retention strategies and processes to help enhance and shape the overall candidate and employee experience
  • Develops innovative solutions around candidate and employee experiences, people analytics, branding/marketing and technology enhancements, including infusion of artificial intelligence into the employee journey
  • Conducts research and analysis, influences collaboration, makes recommendations, coordinates and may lead projects and develops solutions
  • Interprets, creates, analyzes, communicates and presents reports and data supporting or influencing business decisions
  • Designs, validates, and supports new and existing tools, processes, programs, and policies


Qualifications

Ideal candidates for this internship would have:

  • Experience in project management / leadership - inclusive of individual or group work, clubs, memberships, extracurricular activities
  • Understanding of business fundamentals and foundational leadership skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, marketing mindset, highly creative, innovative, resourceful
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently with multiple levels of leadership
  • Operates effectively in dynamic environments; comfort with ambiguity and “working in the grey”; highly adaptable
  • Experience with creating visual storytelling decks and video editing
